Itinerary

Day 1Proflight Lusaka-Mfuwe

Depart Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (LUN) aboard Proflight Zambia for a short flight to Mfuwe Airport (MFU).
You’ll be welcomed by your safari driver and transferred to Kafunta River Lodge, located on the edge of South Luangwa National Park.
Relax after your journey, enjoy a refreshing drink at sunset, and settle in for a delicious dinner with panoramic views of the Luangwa floodplains.

Days 2 & 3Safari Adventure at Kafunta River Lodge

Spend two exciting days exploring the park on morning and afternoon game drives guided by experienced rangers.
Spot lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and the rich birdlife that makes Luangwa a top destination for nature photographers.
During the day, unwind in the infinity pool, visit the natural hot spring spa, or enjoy scenic views from your private deck.

Day 4Transfer to Island Bush Camp

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive deep into the wilderness to Island Bush Camp, located along the remote Luangwa River.
This eco-friendly camp offers an intimate, off-grid safari experience, ideal for adventurers who love authentic African nature.
Take part in guided walking safaris, learning to track animals and discover the smaller wonders of the bush.

Day 5Wilderness Immersion
